Owl City is an American electronic music projection created in 2007 in Owatonna, Minnesota. It is ane of several projects by vocaliser, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Adam Young, who created the project while experimenting with music in his parents' basement. Adam Immature

Adam Randal Young (built-in July 5, 1986) is Owl City's founder and only abiding fellow member. He was also unsure whether "I Hope You Think of Me" would make the final track listing.[49]

Young, along with Jewel and Jay Sean, released a song in promotion of the Child Hunger Ends Here campaign by ConAgra Foods entitled "Here's Hope".[53] [54] On Apr 17, 2012, "Dementia", a vocal by Young which was intended to be included on his upcoming album leaked onto the net. The song features additional vocals by Mark Hoppus of Blink-182.[55]

Musical styles and influences
